Company picnic and face painting...

Today was our first annual company picnic (as that this is the first year that we have had more than just us and one other person in our company). We held it at Elitch Gardens this year... We had a lot of fun.. Food was okay... catered by Elitch's, barbeque sandwiches and hot dogs. The girls got their faces painted.

Rollerblades

Okay... so I'm not really one who likes to rollerblade, I'll be the first to admit it, but since it's a growing trend (especially in our family) then I'm bound and determined to do it...

But first, we must teach the next generation... Ken got his first pair of Rollerblades and we went straight to the park to try them out. He was a little shaky at first (who isn't when balancing on four in line wheels, but I digress), but he seems to have gotten the jist of it.

Ken's a Graduate

Okay... so it's only from Kindergarten, but still..

Here's Ken and his little girlfriend Victoria... Isn't she cute?
And here's his other girl Samantha... :) Starting young... I know

This was his class...

And here's Ken with his "diploma" and what not... His teacher is sitting behind him.

The World through My Son's Eyes

My son received a camera from his Grandma Cindy last Friday... these are pictures that he took (or his friends took). He took around 217 pictures and videos. After I got through with going through them and deleting all the black pictures and pictures of the TV and videos He's now down to 103. Still a lot of those are blurry and hard to tell, so I'm sure I'll go through them more.

Enjoy...

The always necessary picture of the finger... (L)

Being a mom means...

Watching movies that I never got the chance to see as a kid because either I was too old or too young to care... but right now... my kid's are watching "The Carebear Movie". Oh my goodness... I can see I really didn't miss much NOT watching this as a kid... The kids in the movie really can't sing and truthfully, neither can the Carebears... Thus the reason I'm in here typing while they're watching the movie... My ears are hurting....

The Rainbow Song

Here's Ken with his class... bright blue shirt on the right between two red shirts... and yes... he's looking directly at me...

I know this is a repost, but some how my earlier video disappeared... so I thought I'd try again...
